The process

From raw hide to finished holster

Every piece is made by hand, start to finish. Scroll through the steps, and drag the leather to turn it in your hands.

  1. Step 01

    Raw hide

    Everything starts as a bare piece of leather: pale, plain, and unmarked. It is cut to size by hand, and from here it only gets better with every step.

  2. Step 02

    Tooled by hand

    The sunburst border is stamped into the leather by hand, one strike at a time. No presses and no stamping machines, so every piece carries the small marks of real handwork.

  3. Step 03

    Dyed with alcohol-based dye

    Alcohol-based dye soaks deep into the leather instead of sitting on top of it. The color comes out rich and even, and it settles into the tooled detail so the pattern stands out.

  4. Step 04

    Sealed with Tan Kote

    Tan Kote goes over the dyed leather to lock in the color and protect it from moisture, scuffs, and daily wear. It is what makes a holster durable and resistant, not just good looking.

  5. Step 05

    Stitched by hand

    Every seam is stitched by hand, one stitch at a time. There is no machine stitching and no machining of any kind in the build, so each holster is made the slow way, on purpose. The finished holster in the viewer shows the hand stitching along its seam.
